Lost thoughts: venting is healthy.
The importance of having a space, place or person to vent to is something I would like to to think I’ll always appreciate. Having someone to listen or as an outlet is crucial, knowing you can talk without judgement and they won’t divulge your Pandora’s box to the world.
For me these people are my mum, and two friends. We acknowledge nothing is judgemental it’s a rant free space. I facilitate a space for them in return.
Recently journaling has played a big part in my life. This is less significant than previous, where I would have dedicated note books of craft pdf rants on the daily. This is one page in my notes on my phone titled journaling. If I would like to talk to someone I talk to me. I also occasionally record a voice note if I’d like to say things out loud. Even if it’s only to your phone, a problem shared is a problem halved or so I think. I need to stream line my thoughts and free my head of the burden of holding them, this system works well.
I haven’t been back and reread them, I might do some day. My likely guess would be the problems and stresses I once got so consumed by represent nothing but a memory. Time is a great healer.
